“Apaan tuh Contraband? Boyband baru Korea?” ucap salah seorang Magnivaters begitu ia mendengar Magnivate akan mengadakan acara nonton bareng Contraband pada Jumat, 3 Februari 2012 di Senayan City XXI.
Bagi yang belum nonton, Contraband adalah film bergenre action-thriller menceritakan tentang kehidupan Chris Farraday (Mark Wahlberg) yang tidak lagi menjabat sebagai penyelundup kelas berat, kini ia hidup dengan damai bersama istrinya Kate Farraday (Kate Beckinsale) dan 2 anaknya. Konflik terjadi saat adik iparnya, Andy ( Landry Jones) mengacaukan proses transaksi obat-obatan terlarang. Tim Briggs (Goivanni Ribisi), sang bos mafia mengancam akan menghabisi nyawa Andy jika tidak melunasi hutangnya. Demi menolong Andy, Chris terpaksa kembali ke dunia hitam dan segera merekrut kru andalannya dengan bantuan sahabatnya Sebastian (Ben Foster). Kemudian mereka berangkat menuju Panama untuk menyelundupkan jutaan uang palsu.
Bersetting di New Orleans, Contraband banyak mengangkat kisah-kisah dari dunia “underground”. Tentang betapa kejam dan kelamnya dunia penyelundupan internasional, dimana loyalitas adalah sesuatu hal yang langka dan harus dibayar mahal dengan nyawa. Overall, film ini cukup membuat adrenalin kami terpacu karena alur cerita yang sangat intense, not bad.
Rasanya cukup sulit mengumpulkan hampir 100 Magnivaters dalam satu ruangan (di luar kantor).Bagi kami, ritual nonton bareng yang digelar hampir setiap bulan ini bukan hanya untuk melepaskan kepenatan bekerja, tapi juga sebagai ajang dimana Magnivaters dapat menghabiskan waktu bersama layaknya sebuah keluarga – lebih dari sekedar teman kerja.Yes, we are one big and happy family!
Setelah melewati tahun 2011 dengan penuh suka duka dan juga segudang pembelajaran, kami ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua tim Magnivate atas pencapaian yang telah diraih di tahun 2011. Memasuki tahun 2012, tentunya dengan semangat baru, Magnivate akan membuat target dan prestasi yang pastinya akan jauh lebih baik lagi. Pergantian tahun selalu dijadikan moment untuk membuat resolusi, dan seperti kebanyakan orang-orang pada umumnya masing-masing dari Magnivaters pun mempunyai resolusi pribadi yang ingin dicapai, baik itu resolusi ringan hingga yang sedikit muluk sekalipun. Jono: Lebih baik dari kemarin, lebih gila dari hari ini dan berlebihan di tahun 2012!!!
Popon: Mengurangi ngomong nyet terutama pas meeting, berat badan berkurang 10 kg, mendapat kepastian (jeng)!

Rama: Naik Haji bareng keluarga lengkap, naik gaji, naik jabatan jadi CGO (Chief Goodlooking Officer) hahaaa!

It was another movie night at Magnivate. Yesterday, after office hours we went straight to Senayan City XXI for a Puss in Boots night out at 6.45 PM. Most of us (it’s 75 out of 90ish anyway) went there and we had quite some fun sitting at the theatre together.
After a busy day at the office, sitting and watching movie together is quite the treat! It was another quality time to spend with all the colleagues. The movie was good, the popcorn was there to share, and voila! A perfect movie night out, not to forgot to mention the outburst laughters last night.
We owned the cinema!
Puss in Boots was a good movie. Filled with the animated cats and kittens for the whole 90 minutes, the film features an adventure, romance, friendship, along with the witty humor. Perfect movie for cat lovers!

The Holiday season is coming! That means our annual End Of Year Dinner is coming too! So this 22nd of December there will be plenty of super yummy Korean foods and drinks served at Kim Sat Gat. As you may know ‘fun’ is Magnivate Group middle name, and we will live up to it to the fullest in this festive occasion. Even more fun is the gift exchange session that also will take place at this event, there’s a rule though. No gift should worth more than Rp50.000 to make it challenging and more fun….and not to put a hole through anyone’s pockets.
So we at Magnivate just can’t wait for the chance to relax, laugh, eat, drink, and go crazy. After all the hardwork and the wonderful year that have happen to us, it’s time to celebrate. Well you know us Magnivaters, we’re the expert on having fun!

As the saying goes “everything good must come to an end” so does the story of our interns. Today is the last day of work for our talented interns Carol, Jojo, Nicko and Seno. So we decided to have a little chit chat with one of the intern,Carolyn Suhardi, to tell us about her experience working at Magnivate.
Magnivate: Hello Carol, I wanna ask you some questions okay, here’s the first…why did you apply for the internship in the first place?
Carol:Hey, actually it was such a coincidence. My sister is one of Magnivate’s client and she suggested me to come here.
Magnivate: Okay, what’s your position? And how long you’ve been working here?
Carol:I’m an intern in account department, and it’s been three months.
Magnivate: So, are you enjoying your work as an intern? Is it true that Magnivate is the happiest agency in town?
Carol:Yeaaah of course, Magnivate is sooooo fun! The work environment is very very fun and all of my colleagues here are soooo funny, hahaa!
Magnivate: What do you want to achieve here?
Carol:Actually, I just wanna do my best, so my mentors will think that I have made a postive contribution to this company.
Magnivate: After you graduate, are you interested in working full time at Magnivate?
Carol: Yes, why not? You don’t know what future holds.
Magnivate: Last but not least, what’s your impressions about Magnivate?
Carol: The happiest agency, Magnivate is like the best ‘Playground’ ever. I’m so happy to be a part of Magnivate!
